We receive reports regarding unethical behaviors such as unfair business practices by Howon employees, unreasonable demands using their position, socially inhumane acts, and the receipt of money or valuables, as well as unfair trade practices like violations of the Subcontracting Act.

It is operated strictly on a confidential basis to third parties. (※ Including reports related to internal Howon personnel.)

  • Slander not based on facts and matters related to personal privacy will not be processed as complaints.
  • Reports are processed as quickly as possible, and the results can be checked through the Reporting Center.
  • If you report using your real name, the processing results will be sent to your email.
  • If you report anonymously, you can check the results by visiting our website directly and using your receipt number and password.
  • As ensuring the anonymity of the whistleblower is our top priority during all investigation processes, the reporter's identity is strictly and absolutely protected.

    Report Categories

    • · Unreasonable demands or unfair business handling by employees

    • · Based on the principle of third-party confidentiality, the necessary verification process will take a minimal amount of time.

    Whistleblower Protection

    • · We do not disclose the whistleblower's identity or any information that may imply it without their consent. We will ensure full restoration and take equivalent responsibility for any disadvantages caused by a failure to comply with this.
    • · In the event of disadvantages resulting from a violation of whistleblower protection, strict disciplinary actions will be taken in accordance with company regulations.

To protect the identity of whistleblowers, Howon complies with Article 9 (Prohibition of Retaliation) and the duty of confidentiality under our Unethical Behavior Reporting Reward and Immunity Guidelines. Furthermore, we mandate the annual signing of a Whistleblower Identity Protection Pledge.

  • ① Prohibition of Whistleblower Disclosure Anyone who becomes aware of a whistleblower's identity, whether through their duties or accidentally, must not engage in any act that discloses or implies their identity.
  • ② Prohibition of Whistleblower Tracking The reported person, their department, and any other related departments are strictly prohibited from engaging in any activities that could expose the whistleblower's identity, such as inquiring with the investigator or conducting investigative activities to find out who the whistleblower is.
  • ③ Prohibition of Disadvantages and Job Management Any personnel-related disadvantages against the whistleblower are strictly prohibited. If a disadvantage is anticipated, immediate temporary protective measures, such as reassignment, will be taken.
  • ④ Strict Punishment for Violation of Identity Protection Internal reporting by members is a valuable asset that protects our core value of honesty and saves the company from greater risks. When handling such facts, we ensure absolute confidentiality so that the whistleblower does not suffer any disadvantages to their status.

Cyber Reporting

  • This system is operated for Howon's ethical and transparent management. We operate the Cyber Reporting Center as part of our efforts to protect the identity of whistleblowers.
  • The Cyber Reporting Center is strictly managed with guaranteed confidentiality by a dedicated administrator.
  • Personal information is collected and used solely for the reception, processing, and follow-up management of reports.

[Purpose of Collection / Items Collected / Purpose of Use of Personal Information]

When using the 'Cyber Reporting Center', we collect only the minimum personal information necessary for cyber reporting. If you do not wish to provide personal information, you can submit your report anonymously. The specific purposes for collecting and using personal information are as follows:

- Name, Contact Number (Optional), Email: To confirm the details of the consultation and reply with the results.

[Retention and Use Period of Personal Information]

The retention period for the collected personal information is 1 month from the time of application to the counseling center. If a deletion request is made after submitting a report, it will be deleted immediately. Upon deletion, your personal information is destroyed instantly using methods that render it unrecoverable. However, in the following cases, personal information is retained for the specified period:

  • ① When the retention period has been notified to you in advance and that period has not yet expired.
  • ② When individual consent is obtained, it is retained for the agreed-upon period.
