Chapter 1: General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to prescribe the terms, conditions, and procedures for using all services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by Howon Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The definitions of terms used in these Terms of Use shall be as follows:

  • ① User: A person who receives Services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms of Use.
  • ② User Agreement: A contract concluded between the Company and a User regarding the use of the Services.
  • ③ User ID (ID): A combination of letters and numbers selected by the User and approved by the Company for user identification and service utilization (Only one ID can be issued per [RRN Omitted]).
  • ④ Password (PASSWORD): A combination of letters, numbers, and special characters set by the User to protect their personal information.
  • ⑤ Termination: An expression of intent by the Company or a Member to terminate the User Agreement after utilizing the Services.

Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

If a Member does not agree to the modified Terms, they may request the deletion of their relevant information. If the Member continues to use the Services without expressing any objection even after 7 days from the effective date of the modified Terms, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the modifications.

  • ① These Terms shall become effective upon being posted on the service screen or noticed via the announcement bulletin board or other communication methods.
  • ② The Company may modify the contents of these Terms when deemed necessary. The modified Terms will be posted on the service screen, and if a Member continues to use the Services without expressing any objection after 7 days of such notice, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms.
  • ③ If a User does not agree to the modified Terms, they shall discontinue using the Services. Continued use shall be deemed as consent to the modifications, and the modified Terms shall take effect in the same manner as described in the preceding paragraph.

Article 4 (Governing Law and Provisions)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.

Chapter 2: User Agreement

Article 5 (Formation of User Agreement)

The User Agreement is formed by the Company's acceptance of the User's application and the User's agreement to the contents of these Terms.

Article 6 (Application for Use)

An application for use can be made by the User entering their personal information into the registration application form required by the Company on the service profile screen.

Article 7 (Acceptance of Application)

The Company shall accept the application for use unless there are extraordinary circumstances, provided that the Member accurately fills out all required fields in the application form.

  • The Company may decline to accept the application in any of the following cases:
  • ① The application is not made under the applicant's real name.
  • ② The application is made using another person's name.
  • ③ The contents of the application are falsely recorded.
  • ④ The application is made with the intent to disrupt public peace, order, or public morals.
  • ⑤ Any other application requirements set by the Company are not met.

Article 8 (Modification of Agreement Details)

Members must update their information if any details provided during the application change. The Member shall be solely responsible for any issues arising from a failure to update such information.

Chapter 3: Obligations of the Contracting Parties

Article 9 (Obligations of the Company)

The Company shall not disclose or distribute a Member's personal information acquired in connection with the provision of Services to any third party without the Member's prior consent. However, this shall not apply when requested by government agencies under laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications, for criminal investigation purposes, or when requested under procedures prescribed by other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 10 (Obligations of Members)

Members shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Services:

  • ① Fraudulently using another Member's ID.
  • ② Replicating, publishing, or providing information obtained from the Services to a third party.
  • ③ Infringing upon the copyrights or other rights of the Company or third parties.
  • ④ Disseminating content that violates public order or morals.
  • ⑤ Engaging in acts objectively judged to be associated with a crime.
  • ⑥ Engaging in acts that violate other relevant laws and regulations.

Members may not engage in commercial activities using the Services, and the Company shall not be held liable for any outcomes resulting from such commercial use.

Members may not assign or transfer their right to use the Services or any other status under the User Agreement to others, nor may they provide it as collateral.

Chapter 4: Use of Services

Article 11 (Obligations of Members for Maintenance)

  • ① Members shall bear administrative responsibility for the maintenance and management of their own emails, bulletin boards, registered materials, etc., as necessary.
  • ② Members may not arbitrarily delete or modify data provided by the Company.
  • ③ Members shall not post content on the Company's website that violates public order or morals, or infringes upon other rights, including third-party copyrights. The Member shall bear full responsibility for all consequences arising from posting such content.

Article 12 (Management and Deletion of Posts)

For efficient service operation, the Company may limit a Member's memory space, message size, and retention days, and may delete registered content without prior notice if it falls under any of the following cases:

  • ① Content that slanders or defames another Member or a third party, damaging their reputation.
  • ② Content that violates public order or morals.
  • ③ Content recognized to be associated with criminal acts.
  • ④ Content that infringes upon the copyrights or other rights of the Company or third parties.
  • ⑤ The Member posts obscene material or links to obscene websites on the Company's website or bulletin boards.
  • ⑥ Content judged to be in violation of other relevant laws and regulations.

Article 13 (Copyright of Posts)

The copyright of a post belongs to the author. Members may not use materials posted on the Services commercially, including processing or selling information obtained through the Services.

Article 14 (Service Hours)

In principle, the Services shall be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there is a specific operational or technical impediment. However, this does not apply during scheduled maintenance, repairs, or system inspections.

Article 15 (Responsibility for Service Use)

Users shall not engage in hacking, linking to obscene websites, or illegally distributing commercial software using the Services. The Company shall not be held liable for any commercial outcomes, losses, or legal actions taken by relevant authorities resulting from a violation of this provision.

Article 16 (Suspension of Service Provision)

The Company may suspend the provision of Services in any of the following cases:

  • ① Inevitable circumstances due to construction, such as maintenance or expansion of service facilities.
  • ② A common telecommunications carrier as prescribed in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services.
  • ③ Regular system checkups or emergency system inspections are required.
  • ④ Other force majeure events occur.

Chapter 5: Termination of Contract and Use Restrictions

Article 17 (Termination of Contract and Use Restrictions)

When a Member wishes to terminate the User Agreement, the Member must apply for termination online, and the Company will take action after verifying the Member's identity.

If a Member engages in any of the acts specified in the following paragraphs, the Company shall notify the user of its intent to terminate the agreement at least 30 days prior to the termination action and provide an opportunity to present a statement.

  • ① Misappropriating another person's User ID and Password.
  • ② Intentionally disrupting the operation of the Services.
  • ③ Falsely submitting a membership application.
  • ④ Duplicate registration by the same user with different IDs.
  • ⑤ Disseminating content that undermines public order or morals.
  • ⑥ Defaming, causing disadvantage, or bringing harm to others.
  • ⑦ Transmitting massive amounts of information or advertising content with the intent to disrupt the stable operation of the Services.
  • ⑧ Disseminating computer viruses or malicious programs that cause malfunctions of information and communications facilities or destruction of information.
  • ⑨ Infringing upon the intellectual property rights of the Company, other Members, or third parties.
  • ⑩ Fraudulently using another person's personal information, User ID, or Password.
  • ⑪ The Member posts obscene material or links to obscene websites on their own website or bulletin boards.
  • ⑫ Engaging in acts judged to be in violation of other relevant laws and regulations.

Chapter 6: Miscellaneous

Article 18 (Prohibition of Assignment)

Members may not assign, transfer, or gift their right to use the Services or any other status under the User Agreement to others, nor may they provide it as collateral.

Article 19 (Indemnification)

The Company shall not be held liable for any damages incurred by a Member in connection with services provided free of charge, except where such damages are caused by the intentional misconduct or gross negligence of the Company.

Article 20 (Limitation of Liability / Disclaimer)

  • ① The Company shall be exempted from liability for providing Services if it is unable to do so due to natural disasters, acts of war, or other force majeure events.
  • ② The Company shall be exempted from liability for damages caused by inevitable reasons such as maintenance, replacement, scheduled inspections, or construction of service facilities.
  • ③ The Company shall not be held liable for any disruptions or obstacles in service use caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
  • ④ The Company shall not be held liable for any loss of expected profits or damages resulting from materials obtained through the Services.
  • ⑤ The Company shall not be held liable for the reliability, accuracy, or content of information, materials, or facts posted on the Services by Members.

Article 21 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

If a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Services, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company shall be the exclusive competent court.

Addenda

(Effective Date) These Terms of Use shall enter into force on September 24, 2025.
